Here is the basic recipe for the most amazing truffles. A great gift for Holidays and Valentine’s or anytime you are desiring a rich decadent chocolate treat. These delectable bites are rich in healthy oils and low in processed sugar without compromising taste or texture.

1/3 c. virgin coconut oil
1/3 c. cacao butter
1/2 c dates
2 T. Maple Syrup
2 t. chocolate or vanilla extract
1 c. raw cacao powder
1.5 t. Temple Taste Persian Masala, Mexican Mole or Sumptuous Curry
ingredients coating:
1/2 c.  unsweetened shredded coconut or almond flour
1/8 t. Temple Taste Masala (same masala used in truffle)

directions: melt the cacao butter on low heat and add to blender with coconut oil, dates and maple syrup and vanilla extract.
blend these ingredients on hight until smooth and creamy.
Place in bowl and add cacao powder folding it in until it is like a wonderful rich and  smooth chocolate frosting consistency.
Place in the refrigerator to chill and allow to firm up for about an hour or so.
Remove bowl of cacao goodness and use spoon to scoop out and form into round truffles with your hands.
Roll in finely shredded unsweetened coconut (place the coconut in a bullet or coffee grinder to make a coconut dust or use finely ground almond flour)
Place in container and store in refrigerator Enjoy for days to come…
