16 oz. jar organic tahini
1 c. finely shredded coconut
3 T. powdered monk fruit
2 T. collagen powder
1 T. maple syrup (optional)
1 T. vanilla extract
1/8 t. salt
3/4 c. toasted sesame seeds ground for rolling
Variation: omit sesame seeds for rolling, add 10 drops of Doterra Wild Orange essential oil with other ingredients.
Roll in 1/4 c. raw cacao powder.
Place all ingredients in a bowl and combine together with a large spoon. Measure and toast sesame seeds on medium heat for a few minutes stirring occasionally and removing from heat when golden brown. Grind in a coffee grinder or bullet. and place in a bowl with a pinch of salt or salt to taste. Take about one Tablespoon or half Tablespoon of tahini dough and roll in your hands to shape, roll again in the sesame seeds or cacao powder. Refrigerate to set and store. Enjoy!
Collagen powders i have used include Ancient Nutrition and Garden of Eden both unsweetened, Collagen powder creamer can be substituted but has some sweetness so you may need to adjust the amount of monk fruit accordingly.
